Lifelong angler from Kenai, Alaska — and the person behind Angler Beacon.
About me
My father taught me to fish on the Kenai, and I’ve been fishing for as long as I can remember. I fish for salmon, halibut and trout — with a fly rod, with spinning gear, on halibut charters, and through the ice when the lakes freeze.
What I’m doing with Angler Beacon
Angler Beacon started from an archive of older fishing guides. I’m working through it: removing what isn’t useful, fixing what is, and adding new guides based on the fishing I actually do. Articles I have written or rewritten myself carry my name; older archive guides are marked as such.
